This workshop teaches you how to administer a Joomla! web site. Creating and editing articles, adding links to web sites and mail addresses, uploading and displaying images, and adding menu items are covered.

Advanced Joomla - Build Home Page, News Pages

Register for Advanced Joomla - Build Home Page and News Pages

We will work together to build a home page using square modules. Next we will build a news items list page using a tool, Latest News Enhanced where the images can be set to display as the same size and become thumbnails. Lastly, we will put a 'news' module on the home page, to display a dynamic listing of news items being done by your department.

We will spend the entire class working with our Joomla Event Management Tool, Jevents

  • Adding / Editing Events
  • Repeating Events
  • Displaying Events on Menu
  • Displaying module of events on pages
  • Crop and add image to events page

Prerequisites: We recommend that you take the Advanced Docusign Class prior to taking this class.  You should be comfortable in creating an envelope and a template.

In this class we will:

  • Use Conditional Fields in PowerForms
  • Display Powerform on a website
  • Add a link to the form on a website
  • Add more functionality to PowerForms
  • Responsive PowerForms
